Ms. Xuan Zhang (Joanna) –  Owner

 Ms. Cathy – School Director

Hi!  I am Ms Cathy. I have been working in the field of Early Childhood Education well over 25 years as both a director and a teacher.  I have thoroughly enjoyed this profession; learning new techniques  and methods to facilitate the every changing dynamics of children and teachers.  I started as a teacher here at Grace Garden, so that I could understand the needs of the teachers and children to advocate  for their requirements for a successful learning environment.   My journey at Grace Garden has brought me closer to the Lord, through the wonderful program taught through the Bible, Scriptures and  Prayer. God Bless

 Ms. Angy – Assistant Director

I love travelling and learning. I am  planning to take up a few courses in early childhood which will help me do better with my kids at school. I am so excited to work with children in their early stages of  development and I am also thrilled to learn and grow with them. As their teacher, I hope to nurture the children academically and spiritually. I always believe that each child is unique, and each child  learns in a different way and I want to be a part of that learning. I am really blessed to have the opportunity to work with GGCP.

Ms. Deana – Room 3 (2 Years Olds)

My Name is Deanna Henning. I am married, the mother of 4, ranging in ages from 30 years to 10 years old. I also have one granddaughter who is 3 and half. I have been in daycare, for the most part, since 1986. I took a few years off with my first two children. I have taught in every age group and was an Assistant Director of a corporate center for 6 years. After leaving the corporate center I ran my own in home daycare for 4 years allowing my youngest two to have mommy when they came from school.

In July we made the move from Oregon to Arizona to be closer to family and decided it was best for me to return to work. I chose to work at Grace Garden because I wanted to work in a place where I didn’t have to hide my faith but somewhere that my faith would be appreciated and where I could freely share it. I look forward to working with young children.

I currently love my role as the assistant teacher to Ms. Gabbie in the  Enrichment room. A little bit about my education… I have a bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies with a certificate in Crime Intelligence and Analysis, but to life events I decided to go a different way and  started working with children.  Ms.  Gabbi – Enrichment Room (4 1/2 + & Kindergarten)

Hi My name is Ms. Gabrielle Wydogen. I have been at Grace Garden for almost 2 years.I am currently obtaining a degree from the University of Phoenix in Elementary Education. My goals for the enrichment room are to gear the children for kindergarten. What does this mean you ask? In  the enrichment room I take the benchmarks of what should be met in kindergarten and break them down to help the children better understand the material. For example, I really try and touch upon  number and letter recognition, moving forward with early literacy and writing skills.

 Ms.  Tori – Enrichment Room (4 1/2 + & Kindergarten)

Hi, my name is Tori Melton. I am a mother to a 4 year old boy, who is currently in room 5. I went to school for early childhood education and have been working with kids for about 8 years now. Grace Garden Preschool was the first school I ever worked at, but moved around a lot and had to switch to different schools. After I had a child of my own I knew Grace Garden was such a great school I wanted to return for my son to go there and also to teach. I am currently in the Enrichment Room with Ms. Gabbie. The reason I want to work with young kids is because I feel the first years of education are the most important, it is the first stepping stone of many for a child’s career in education. If you are able to make sure children have an engaging and fun experience with learning then you will be able to ensure that they will always have a love for learning. I want to be able to make that difference in a child’s life.

 Ms.   CHEYENNE – Floater

Hi, my name is Cheyenne Brewer, and I have been working for GGCP since May of 2017. I am 22 years old, and was born and raised in Arizona. I don’t have any children, however, this job has somewhat prepared me for that day. Working here has taught me so much in the short amount of time, and I am grateful that Grace gardens, has given me this opportunity. I love being a floater here at GGCP, because I get the chance to work with every class. I look forward to growing more knowledge about child’s care in the future.
